Emirates First Class Lounge Dubai

Well its always tough to end a vacation but at least we could look forward to flying Emirates First Class on the way home!

We arrived bit after 1AM for our 2:40AM (yikes) flight.  There was nothing at all really special about the checkin services for Emirates First Class, no escorts or anything fancy. We immediately went to check out the Emirates First Class Lounge to hang out a bit before our flight.  We were all pretty tired having to get up at midnight to leave for the airport.

There was a small line to checkin but it only took a moment.  Once inside, we looked for a comfy area to relax! There is no shortage of seating in this lounge it is huge!  Its pretty much the entire upstairs of a terminal.

Lots of wide open seating in the Emirates First Class Lounge

Our lounge spot

Once we found our spot we lounged out on the couches. An attendant came over shortly after and asked if we wanted a complimentary beverage.  We chose water and a moment later we had our own bottles of Voss.

My wife and I decided to take turns walking around and took the baby with us in the stroller to entertain him.  They did have a fairly large children’s play room but our kid was a bit too young for that.

Although they have nice dining options in the lounge we decided to save our appetite for the airplane plus it was 2AM and we weren’t really hungry.

Plenty of one hallways

Down some really remote and deserted hallways were a mothers child care room and a shower room for people to freshen up.

There was of course free wifi throughout the lounge.

After a about and hour we decided to find our gate.  It took us a while to find it as it was downstairs and a bit out of the way but boarding hadn’t quite began.  Again there was no escort or special service.  We just lined up with the rest of the non economy passengers and eventually boarded.

Overall the lounge is nice and huge with plenty of spaces for quiet seating.  Theres lots of good options and this is a nice place to pass the time while waiting for a flight.  I believe there is a whole separate lounge in a different terminal that Emirates has their A380’s parked at in which that lounge is even better.
