Lufthansa Senator Lounge Frankfurt

After arriving in Frankfort and getting our bags cleared through security again we wandered around Frankfort airport wondering what lounge we could use.  We initially wandered over the the Lufthansa First class lounge (not the first class terminal) but I had a feeling they would not let us in.  Indeed they looked at our boarding passes and advised we could have access to the Senator lounge and they explained it was close to our gate for our next flight. So off we went!

I wanted to grab a shower and have a snack. I went to the Senator Spa section and signed in for a shower room. The spa attendant advised which shower room to use and we were off. My wife joined me in the room to freshen up and brush her teeth and whatnot. I took a nice shower and got cleaned up. The shower was nice as it had a rainfall shower head along with a handheld shower spout. The room was plenty large enough even with my wife sharing the room too.

After using the spa we grabbed a cubicle in the work area of the lounge to charge up our iDevices.  We grabbed some small snacks and drink although they had more substantial offerings and some hot dishes. I had to have a pretzel while in Frankfurt! As I was snapping a picture of the food a lounge worker that was restocking some food advised I cannot take pictures thus I don’t have many pictures of the food and drink here.

After we charged our phones and eat a bit we went over to the other side of the lounge and sat in the chaise lounges.  We were so tired and we had to keep waking each other up to not fall asleep as to miss our next flight!! It was really quiet and relaxing.

We left the lounge about 10 minutes after boarding started and unbelievable to me most of the plane had already boarded.  I was excited for the next leg of our trip on Thai Airways!
