We started our trip with a late night stop at the Four Points O’Hare simply to sleep and make it to the airport in time for our 8:30am flight.  They have a shuttle that runs to O’Hare every 20 minutes which is very convenient! There are several choices of hotels around the O’Hare area but this one was our choice since it was only 3000 Starwood points!

They have renovated this property since last year and they are still in the process of making some more updates (be aware that from 8am-5pm they are actively renovating the property).  It is much cleaner looking than our last stay.  My wife was not excited to stay here but it does the job for a simple hotel and we were able to get a good night sleep.  We were checked in smoothly and given a room on the 4th floor all the way at the end of the hall.  The parking charges are typically $6 a day for the days in which you are a guest and $12 a day for days in which you are checked out.  The front desk was nice enough to charge me a flat $20 for my four nights total.  Our room appeared to be renovated and was fresh and clean.  No wear and tear for our room (number 443).

One negative is that my wife and I don’t like to travel with our toothbrushes and prefer to pick up brand new ones at the hotel however this hotel didn’t have any in the morning at the front desk when we woke up! I actually had to go to a vending machine down the hall and purchase a set for about $3 each!!!

 PointsPinnacle Breakdown

As I mentioned earlier I redeemed 3000 Starwood points for our night at this property. My wife recently earned 30,000+ Starwood points from the signup bonus on her AMEX SPG card which we transferred to my account. We can never have enough Starwood points!!! The cash rate for this one night stay was $122 including taxes so we got 4 cents per  Starwood point!
